Still here.

It's been a while since I've posted, so I thought I would just say that everything is still going here. Trying to get cars figured out and thing like that.

Chloe's 5th Birthday

Today was Chloe's 5th birthday. She chose to have a Hannah Montana theme party. It was the first time that she got to invite her friends to her party. So, we had Trevor and Chris, Tylee, Ashlyn, and Jase, and Madison. Then Tyler's mom, Aunt Dawn, Uncle JD, and Grandma Ross came. Also Matt, Brian, Peter, Kenna, and Nicole. We ended up with quite the turnout. As you can imagine, Chloe got quite a few presents as well. She loved all of them. Last night she realized some of the things that came along with getting older. Before bed she expressed how nervous she is about starting school. Hopefully as it gets closer to time she'll start to feel better about it. But all in all it was a really good day. The kids had a good time making door hangers and playing with the balloons, Tyler and I kept our sanity. Now just two left for the year.

Scissors?

We had our first haircut mishap and survived. Chloe took it upon herself to use their scissors. Luckily it was only her stuffed dog. It ended up with quite the butcher job. Thank goodness it wasn't her sister's or her own hair.

Why name it?

This morning was pretty funny. Tyler was playing with the girls before he had to leave for work. As he was taunting Isha, in a matter of fact way, she informed him that he "really needs to grow up". For everyone who asks, "Is it hard having more than one kid?". The only time more than one kid is really "hard", is when it or they are not yours. Your own are stressful at times, but you still love them. Other peoples kids, you don't, in fact you don't even have to like those. So watchout when you agree to watch another persons kid. You can handle the out of control screaming for only so long!

Just another day.

Here we are on Saturday. Time to review the Primary lesson for tomorrow..... Today I get to make another attempt at getting my house in some kind of order. I've decided that until it's just Tyler and I again, that's all it will end up being is attempts. There is always some kind of chaos with kids. The most upsetting thing right now, aside from only having one car right now, grrr, is that I think we have a thumb sucker. Little Tyler is starting to pull his pacifier out and put his thumb in. When I see it I pull it out and put the pacifier back in, but there's only so much you can do. If he wants to suck his thimb he's going to.

Coming Home

This weekend we went to Idaho to see Tyler's family up there. It was good to see all of them, most of them hadn't seen Little Tyler yet. The girls had a lot of fun playing with cousins and their grandparents. They had the family dinner on Sunday. We came home Monday. On the way back we stopped in Idaho Falls and saw Grandma and Grandpa Turnbow. G.T. is having a hard time right now with the cancer. It was good to spend time with them. It's really nice to make it home again. We all enjoy getting away for a bit, but I think home is always best. Now I have to get it under control from leaving it with the dogs for 4 days.
