Back to Back-up.

So, apparently I'm having a hard time with keeping up on the blog. We've had birthdays, babies born, weddings attended, and holidays pass. I know most, if not all, of you who read this know a lot of what I'm going to post today, but this is for records sake. Chloe is six, Talisha is five, Cara is three, Little Tyler will be two on Jan 6th. Carrington was born on Sept 8th. Yes, I went into labor on Labor Day. She missed being born on 09-09-09, which would of been pretty cool.
Tyler's little sister, Amanda, got married in Sept to Dan. We were all thrilled, he's a great guy. All of the girls were flower girls. Not so good news was that Tyler's Grandma Turnbow passed away the end of Oct. With heartache and relief for her to no longer suffer from the cancer, we made the trip to Idaho for the funeral.
For Halloween, Chloe was Island Princess, Isha was Snow White, Cara was a cat, Little Tyler a giraffe, and Carrington, aka Tin Tin, was a pea-pod. Thanksgiving was a good time for us. We stayed at our home and Tyler's mom and her latest squeeze joined us for a mostly relaxing day. Tyler experienced our second year of Black Friday. There is a big difference between the madness here and what we had in Idaho last year.
Unfortunately, my camera died, so I've missed out on some of the activities. It was quickly replaced at Christmas along with my phone. The girls announced more than once that this was the best Christmas we've ever had. I must say that I agree with them.
Tyler is beginning to feel abandoned at work. One of the last people that he liked to do things with is following the many before and going to a different store. We hope he enjoys going back home and finds a spot for him to be happy.
I feel much better getting caught up for everyone. Sorry that it's missing pictures. Feel free to get after me if I fall behind again.

Slacking, big time!

So, I said I would do better and as you can see, it hasn't been going well.
I'll do a quick run through of the things that have happened and put up pictures for what I have. A lot of this will be old news to some of you.

Shortly after the last post Cara also cut her own hair. Her's was much shorter though and right in the front, of course.

Tyler and I are expecting baby #5. She is due Sept. 12 and her name is planned as Corrie Rae.

Chloe ended up losing tooth two shortly after the first and she likes the gap she has.

Tyler and I have officially been married for seven years. We were only able to escape for a few hours. Time for just the two of us was nice though.

I finally completely finished a project that I started and made a rug for by the kitchen sink.

Chloe finished school on May 28th and on the 29th the school had dance performances by each grade.

I think those are the updates for now..... Congrats to my sister Lindsey for graduating yesterday and hooray that Tyler's sister Amanda and Dan picked a wedding day, Sept 26th.

Look! A gap!

Well, there it is.
The first lost tooth! Daddy was the lucky one to pull it out. She did fine, until the blood came and of course panic set in. She was so excited for the Tooth Fairy. For her first tooth she got two dollars. When we put it under her pillow, I tried to do it stratigically and place it at the edge. She propped her pillow to "Leave a hole for her.". I thought that was nice. Then when I went down later, she had shoved it right under her head, of course.
There should be another following shortly.

Oh No!!!

Well it finally happened.....
One of the girls cut their hair.....
Of course it had to be Isha, who's hair has grown the best out of all of them. It's so sad! When it set in what she did, and I told her that we were going to have to cut the rest of her hair, she cried like crazy. She was so upset because she loved her long hair. I did too.

The hack job.

I figured I would just make it worse, so someone who's trained got to fix it.

Even in the finish product you see her personal touch.

A Quiet Morning

Well today started out of the norm for us. For one thing, except for L. T. crying for a bottle, everyone woke up happy and no incidents. Chloe and I headed outside to take her to school and it was really quiet out there too. It had started to snow last night. Because no one else was walking, no dogs were barking, and there were very few cars out, we could hear the snow crunching. It was just one of those peaceful mornings, and a nice change.

Fun For Kids, Not Me.

So I was thinking that I hadn't posted anything for a while and was trying to come up with something to say. Leave it to the kids for, let's call it, motive.

In our basement we have the girls room, the toys, laundry, and so on. Well today, I'm not sure which, but one of them thought they had come up with a great idea. Talisha and this girl I've been watching the last few weeks came upstairs to inform me Cara had gotten into the laundry soap. I had found it sprinkled on the floor before, so I was thinking the same thing happened. I told them I would be down in a few minutes to check. A few minutes later they come back up to tell me they cleaned it, hearing this made me happy for help, but I didn't want them touching it and getting in their eyes or mouth.

At this time Cara walks in with it on her face and I find out she'd eaten some. This makes me start to wonder what happened. When I get to the top of the stairs I see a small amount of detergent on the them. Then it happens. I go around the corner and it's EVERYWHERE! To get an idea how much it was, we have the large box and I opened it yesterday to do laundry, half of it was gone. The only room they missed was the bathroom. Now they are confined to the upstairs, which is just as hard on me as it is them, I can't tell them to go play when they get too noisy. The only good thing about it is my downstairs smells really good, powerful, but good.
